Free kids camp announced in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown will once again host its free Kids Summer Camp this year.

The Youngstown Parks and Recreation Department announced Monday that the camp will run from June 9 to August 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, at Wick Park.
The camp is open to kids ages 5-13 and features a variety of activities including swimming, sports, arts and crafts, and more.
Pre-registration is now open. Applications can be picked up at the following locations:
Youngstown Parks and Recreation Office, City Hall, 26 S. Phelps St., Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Richard W. and Eugenia C. Atkinson Recreational Center, 903 Ohio St., Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Youngstown Parks and Rec is hiring camp staff for the summer for those 16 years old and older. For more information contact Micaela Brown, recreational programs supervisor, at mbrown@ or call the park office at 330-742-8711.
