Market town's MayFest issues call for talent for inaugural show
Richmond MayFest is calling for talented people to showcase their skills in an inaugural show.
The Talent Show, set to be held at Richmond Town Hall, is scheduled for Friday, May 2, from 7pm to 10pm.
It promises a platform for singers, instrumentalists, comedians, magicians, jugglers, bands, and dance troupes to showcase their skills.
Those interested in participating must submit their applications, along with a short video of their act, by Friday, April 18.

The call is open to performers aged 13 and over, residing in DL9, DL10, and DL11 postcode areas.
Successful applicants will get the opportunity to perform at the MayFest Talent Show, marking the start of a weekend filled with music, dance, and storytelling.
The event is not just about entertainment, but also a competition to find the official talent of MayFest 2025.
Contestants will have the opportunity to impress both the judges and the audience.
The talent show is expected to draw a large crowd, with tickets priced at £10 for the general public and £5 for local residents.
Accompanied under-18s can attend for free. A cash bar will also be available at the venue.
