Two weeks after announcing a handful 2025 summer tour dates, Goose have returned with news of their fourth studio album, Everything Must Go, due on April 25th. Along with the announcement, they've expanded their summer tour itinerary and shared a new song, 'Give It Time.'
Everything Must Go is the Connecticut-based jam band's first album since 2022's Dripfield. Produced by D. James Goodwin, the new album centers on a 'carnivalesque' cast of characters and features Goose expanding the boundaries of their sound.

'These songs all come from different times and places in a way that captures a part of the journey of the band,' said the band's Rick Mitarotonda in a statement. 'It moves through time for us, but not in a tidy, linear way. Like the band, it's okay for things to feel more like a landscape sometimes and less like a singular cohesive statement. It mixes different moods and ideas and characters. The through line is that each piece is part of that journey and that everyone is welcome to the party.'
In addition to announcing the album, the band has expanded its 2025 summer tour. Along with stops at BottleRock Napa Valley, Bonnaroo, their own destination festival Viva El Gonzo, and a headlining appearance at Madison Square Garden, the band will tour through cities like Bend, Spokane, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Gilford, and more; their summer tour concludes with a special hometown show on June 29th in New Haven, Connecticut. Tickets for the new summer dates of Goose's 2025 tour will first be available via an artist pre-sale beginning on Wednesday, January 29th at 10:00 a.m. local time; fans can sign up to receive a unique code for their desired show dates on the band's official website. A Live Nation pre-sale is also available and kicks off on Thursday, January 30th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code OCTAVE). Tickets go on sale for the general public on Friday, January 31st at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
As for the single, 'Give It Time' shows off Goose's ability to capture the infectious energy of their jammy live act on crisp, hi-fi recordings. Opening as a gentle ballad with lyrics musing on the kind of existential crisis one has while lying awake at night, the mood turns a corner with the chorus refrain: 'Give it time/ Go ahead, give it hell/ Give it all you got/ Or give it up for something else.'
Then, midway through the almost-7-minute runtime, the arrangement blossoms open with an expressive, melodic guitar solo. With thundering toms keeping the beat beneath, the song continues as the chorus refrain returns with an anthemic quality. Stream the single below.
