Sioux City pools to open just in time for summer vacation
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Sioux City's pools will be opening just in time for the beginning of summer vacation.
This year, all three of Sioux City's pools will be opening on June 7. The Sioux City Community School District's last day of school is Tuesday, June 3, meaning students will be able to begin spending time at the pools the weekend following their last day of school.

Additionally, Riverside Pool will be open on May 31 and June 1, giving Siouxlanders a chance to take a swim ahead of this year's pool season.
This year, the pools will be open from June 7 through August 10. Riverside Pool will be open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day, and Leif Erikson Pool and Lewis Pool will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Entry at Leif Erikson and Lewis Pools is $3 for a child and $4 for adults. Entry at Riverside Pool is $4 for children and $5 for adults. The city does offer a discount program for qualifying low-income families.
