K-pop stars to shine at Wango Tango 2025 in US this spring
From Xikers to Hearts2Hearts, several K-pop acts join lineup Several K-pop artists are set to take the stage at the Wango Tango music festival in California in May. On May 10, 102.7 KIIS FM's Wango Tango will be held at Huntington City Beach, California. Hosted by iHeartRadio, the largest radio network in the US, Wango Tango began in 1998 and has since featured world-renowned musicians, delivering spectacular performances that have captivated fans of popular music. This year's event marks the first Wango Tango in three years, since the last event in Carson, California, in June 2022. This year's lineup includes global pop stars Doja Cat, Meghan Trainor and Gwen Stefani, alongside K-pop acts Xikers, Nmixx, Hearts2Hearts and Katseye. Prior to the festival appearance, Nmixx is set to release the group's fourth mini album, "Fe3O4: Forward," on March 17. Meanwhile, Xikers will kick off the "Road to XY: Enter the Gate" world tour in May, with performances planned across the US and Japan. SM Entertainment rookie group Hearts2Hearts debuted on Feb. 24 and secured a spot in the lineup of this major international music festival in less than two weeks, as a testament to the group's quick popularity. Additionally, A20 May, a multinational girl group consisting of two American and three Chinese members, will also perform at the festival. The group debuted in late December last year and was launched by Lee Soo-man, the founder of K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment, after his departure from the company.

BTS' J-Hope, Don Toliver collaboration releases
American rapper Don Toliver's new song featuring J-Hope of BTS and Pharrell Williams was officially dropped Friday. 'LV Bag,' produced by Pharrell Williams, was first unveiled last month at the fall-winter 2024 menswear show for Louis Vuitton, for which Williams is the creative director. The hip-hop track played while J-Hope sat in the front row. The single is J-Hope's first new song since he was discharged from his mandatory military service in October last year. He is set to roll out a solo set next month, about a year since special album 'Hope on the Street Vol. 1.' From next week, the artist is to embark on a 'Hope on the Stage' solo world tour. After a two days in Seoul, he will head to North America and perform in six cities before hopping around eight cities in Asia. Xikers announce 2nd world tour Boy band Xikers is set to go on tour in May, KQ Entertainment announced Friday. The band of nine will kick off the 'Road to XY: Enter the Gate' tour with a concert in Seoul on May 3, its first standalone live show in the city. It will then go to the US to visit New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles. The bandmates will be returning to the states about 1 1/2 years after its first tour took them to six cities there. The previous tour also included two cities in Japan, two in Australia and seven in Europe. Separately, Xikers started airing a show on YouTube earlier this month, having partnered with Japanese satellite broadcaster Wowwow after enjoying time off in Tokyo.
