Tributes paid to King's Lynn legend Keith Rudd

Tributes have been paid to well-known former Norfolk football player, manager and coach Keith Rudd who has died at the age of 79. Rudd was a King's Lynn legend – not only had he played for the club, he was also a former manager, club president and ambassador. Advertisement He held the roles of player-manager from 1977-79 and again from 1979 to 1984. He was twice caretaker manager before becoming manager in early 1989 to May 1990, which took his total of games in charge to 445. As a player he scored 185 goals in more than 500 appearances for the Linnets. He also played for Corby Town and Stevenage, as well as spells as player-manager and manager at Wisbech Town, played cricket and was a school teacher at Gaywood Park.
