Willowick Police investigating after teen was shot in the chest: I-Team
WILLOWICK, Ohio (WJW) — A 16-year-old is recovering after being shot late Saturday.
According to police, officers responded to a call of a gunshot in the area of Willowick Drive between East 326th Street and East 330th Street. Once officers arrived they found the teen who had a gunshot wound to his chest.

Willowick police and firefighters treated him and took him to the hospital. Police say he was released Sunday morning.
No arrests have been made but detectives are continuing to investigate.
'At this time, the Willowick police department is asking for anyone with information related to this incident to please come forward and assist in our investigation,' a press release states.
Police are also asking for residents that live in the area to check their security video.

Willowick Police Chief Rob Daubenmire stresses the incident did not happen at a nearby festival.
