4 reasons to check out the Milton Strawberry Fair
The
Strawberry Fair
is back in Milton on Saturday, June 21.
Running at the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the 43rd edition of the community event pays homage to the community's rural roots while highlighting its evolving cultural offerings.
Here are four reasons to check out this year's fair.
It may seem obvious, but the best reason to attend is the spectacular selection of berry-based offerings. There's strawberry pancakes, slushies, cake, ice cream, fresh strawberries and a whole lot more. There's even a strawberry tent that will be keeping people fed and happy all day long.
Admission to the Strawberry Fair is free, though donations are accepted. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash for food and beverage stations.
Rockin Rob Hewlett will host a full day of live, local entertainment. Historically, the fair has been a showcase for some of the area's finest local performers.
We've only touched on a handful of the attractions at the Strawberry Fair. There are also craft activities, card games, a vendor marketplace, an enormous sandpile and more.
