Police seeking suspect in Tanger Outlets jewelry store theft
Ottawa police are seeking a suspect involved in a jewelry store theft at Tanger Outlets mall. (Ottawa Police Service/Provided) The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a jewelry store theft at Tanger Outlets last month. Police say the suspect entered a store on May 9 at approximately 1:28 p.m., broke a display case and stole several pieces of jewelry before fleeing the scene on foot through the parking lot. The suspect is described as a man, approximately 40-years-old, with a medium build and about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore dark grey or black pants, a black hoodie, a red baseball cap with a white 'T' on the front and Nike sneakers with a black swoosh. Anyone with information about this individual or the incident is asked to contact the Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116, or via email at robbery@ Police are also investigating several other thefts and robberies targeting local jewellers in recent months. A group of four or five masked men rammed a stolen pickup truck into a Bank Street jewelry store before driving off in a getaway SUV last week. Other incidents have been reported at jewellers at Place d'Orléans Shopping Centre and Bayshore Shopping Mall.

Police seeking suspects who rammed pickup into Ottawa jeweller, stole items

Police say four or five masked men rammed a stolen pickup through the store's front entrance in the 1700 block of Bank Street shortly before 2:30 p.m. A 'quantity' of jewelry was stolen, police say. The suspects then fled the area in a silver SUV. There were no injuries and an investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been announced. Investigators are asking anyone in the area around 2:25 to 2:45 p.m. to check their dashcam or surveillance camera footage. Police investigate armed robbery at Kitchener store

(Courtesy: WRPS) The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating an early morning armed robbery at a store in Kitchener. At around 5:10 a.m. Monday, police responded to a report of a robbery at a store in the area of Westwood Drive and Westmount Road West. 'An unknown male entered the store, pointed a knife at an employee and demanded cash,' police said in a media release. 'The male then exited the store and fled the area.' Nobody was harmed during the incident. Police said the suspect was described as a Black man, around 6′0″, with long black hair. The suspect was wearing black pants, a black sweater, a black puffy jacket, sunglasses and a blue medical mask. Anyone who recognizes the person in the photo released by police or who has information about this incident is asked to call 519-570-9777, ext. 8255. The investigation is ongoing by the Robbery Unit.

$45K Rolex watch stolen in armed robbery of 87-year-old man in Seattle's Madison Park neighborhood
Police are investigating the armed robbery of an 87-year-old man in Seattle's Madison Park neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), patrol officers responded to reports of a robbery in the 2200 block of 38th Place East at 3:22 p.m. and found the 87-year-old man uninjured. He told officers that he had just pulled into his driveway when two armed suspects got out of a car parked in a neighboring driveway. The suspects were reportedly waiting for the man, rushing towards him with guns pointed to steal his $45,000 Rolex wristwatch. Police say the suspects drove off before 911 was called and were not found. SPD detectives in the Robbery Unit will be investigating the circumstances leading up to this incident.
