Bay County Sheriff's Office arrested fugitive wanted out of Okaloosa County
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The Bay County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest Thursday morning of a fugitive from justice from Okaloosa County.
Officials said 52-year-old Robert Grady was located and arrested on Panama City Beach and was wanted out of Okaloosa County for Felony Violation of Probation with the original charge of sexual battery.

According to a news release, on February 5, 2024, Grady was released from prison in Gulf County, Florida.
Grady was given probation and an ankle monitor and boarded a bus headed for Okaloosa County. However, when the bus stopped in Bay County, he got off the bus and removed his ankle monitor.
Grady was on the run for several days before he was located and arrested without incident. He was charged with Tampering with an Electronic Monitoring Device and Grand Theft.
