Robinson's Rescue in Shreveport offering free spay-neuter for pet owners
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Pet owners in Shreveport can have their pets spayed or neutered for free.
Robinson Rescue will hosts its SSNIP (Subsidized Spay and Neuter Incentive Program) Voucher Day for residents of Caddo and Bossier Parishes. This event will provide free spay/neuter surgeries and rabies vaccinations for pets belonging to qualifying households.
Spring cleaning mistakes that could harm your pet
To be eligible, residents must earn $2,100 or less per month as individuals, or $3,100 or less as a married couple. A valid photo ID and proof of income are required. Do not bring your pet, as your surgery will be scheduled for a later day.
The voucher day will be held on March 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
