5 things to do around NASCAR COTA race in 2025, including performances, driver appearances
NASCAR is bringing its best drivers to Circuit of the Americas, and with it comes plenty of entertainment opportunities.
From roaming performers to stage performers, driver appearances and games to play in the Fan Zone, there is plenty to do around the racetrack before the race begins.
Here are five things to do around the NASCAR COTA race.
Speedway Experience: There is plenty happening at the Speedway Experience display at the Fan Zone throughout the weekend, including appearance from drivers and Trackside Live along with other performances.
Here's a schedule of events for Sunday, March 2 at COTA:
10:30 a.m. - Fan Zone Opens
10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. – Boogie Storm
10:45 a.m. – Ryan Blaney Appearance
11 a.m. – Trackside Live featuring appearances by Michael McDowell, Riley Herbst, Ross Chastain & Denny Hamlin
12 p.m. – NASCAR Legends Michael Waltrip & Kyle Petty Appearance Provided by EchoPark Automotive
12:30 p.m. – Neon Prophets
1:50 p.m. – Funkanometry

Corey Kent pre-race concert (12:45-1:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 2): Kent, a fast-rising, breakout country music artist, will perform a one-hour concert, highlighted by his Platinum-certified hit "Wild As Her,' at the Pre-Race Stage on COTA's frontstretch prior to the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix. Fans can purchase an Ultimate Fan Pass or Track Pass upgrade for enhanced stage access for Kent's performance as well as NASCAR Cup Series driver introductions.
RoboCars: Watch as these brightly colored, unique, transforming and innovative costumes come to life with their amazing driving skills and crowd interaction. Featuring an exciting mixture of makes, models and colors, there will definitely be a favorite for every race fan. The RoboCars will be around from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4:30-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 and 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.
Rock-IT the Robot: Rock-IT is a nine-foot-tall gentle giant who stands head and shoulders above the crowd. Rock-IT has a built-in sound system with several digital voices and singing. Rock-IT also has moving face, eyes, brows, mouth, hands and arms. Rock-IT will be around the track from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4:30-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 and 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.
Live auction (4:30-5 p.m. Saturday, March 1): Jose Castillo will host the live auction for fans to bid on unique experiences and autographed memorabilia. The auction will take place at the Fan Zone Stage on the soccer field. NASCAR Cup Series driver Todd Gilliland will join to help kick off the auction. Proceeds benefit Speedway Children's Charities.
