Minnesota high school phenom Maddyn Greenway has a big fan in Baby Gronk

We know what you're thinking: "Baby Gronk? Who is that?" Baby Gronk, born as Madden San Miguel, is a 12-year-old budding football player nicknamed after former NFL star Rob Gronkowski. He gained fame on social media when he was an 8-year-old, and now has more than a million combined subscribers on YouTube and Instagram. Anyway, the mullet-rocking, football-playing, grill-wearing boy attended a Minnesota girls basketball game between Providence Academy and Rock Ridge last weekend and his crew documented the experience, which featured an in-person view of the No. 1-ranked junior player in Minnesota: Maddyn Greenway. During the game, Baby Gronk met Greenway's father, Chad, who starred at linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings. Greenway told Baby Gronk that he could play at the University of Iowa someday, not failing to mention that the Hawkeyes are known as "Tight End U." The video provides a front row seat to Greenway dominating. Fresh off of becoming the fourth girls player in Minnesota history to reach 4,000 career points, the Kentucky commit scored 28 points to lead No. 1 and undefeated (24-0) Providence Academy to an 84-47 victory. Baby Gronk spent halftime and time after the game taking photos with fans. Greenway became the fourth Minnesota girls hooper to reach 4,000 career points just days after Crosby-Ironton star Tori Oehrlein reached the mark. Oehrlein, also a junior, is committed to the University of Minnesota. It's unclear why Baby Gronk was in Minnesota, but good for him for supporting one of the best prep athletes in state history.
