KUALA LUMPUR: Popular social media influencer Mek Yun has recently revealed a surprising fact about her father: he is a respected brigadier-general.
Her father is none other than Brigadier-General Datuk Wee Han Siew, the former commander of the Rocket Artillery Brigade.
In an Instagram post yesterday, marking Father's Day, Mek Yun shared, "Dad raised me and my siblings with strict discipline. What I am today is largely the result of his no-nonsense upbringing."
Mek Yun paid tribute to her father, acknowledging him as a great leader and a national hero.
