3rd Infantry Division taking part in Army's 250th birthday celebration parade
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSAV) — Representatives from the 'Rock of the Marne' 3rd Infantry Division will take part in the celebration when the U.S. Army marks its 250th birthday. The day will include a historic military parade and President Donald J. Trump will join the veterans, active-duty soldiers, wounded warriors, Gold Star Families and patriotic Americans.
The events will honor the legacy of courage, resilience and innovation of the U.S. Army's 250 years. It will also celebrate its continued strength, ensuring the Army remains the world's premier fighting force.
The festivities begin Saturday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. Events for the 250th birthday celebration — including the parade — will be livestreamed across all U.S. Army social media platforms.
