Unleash Your Spark with Cruinniú na nÓg on 7 June
Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, Ireland's national day of free creativity for children and young people is taking place on Saturday, June 7 and we are telling you to save the date! This all-island celebration will host over 1,000 free events across the country, celebrating creativity through music, art, circus, storytelling film and more. Ireland is the only country in the world to have a national day celebrating young people's creativity. Creative Ireland invites all young people to explore something new, unlock their imagination, and be part of this unique celebration of creativity and expression. Creative Ireland and RTÉ's celebrated national art competition for young people returns. The theme will be revealed on Cruinniú na nÓg day. And there's more. For Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, the island of Ireland will become a gallery as we launch an All Island exhibition showcasing incredible artworks by young artists from previous RTÉ This Is Art! competitions. Circus Explored Presented by Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS), invite young people to explore circus skills in a relaxed, picnic-style setting at locations nationwide. Circus Explored is a call to action for young people to dive into circus activities, develop new skills, and unlock their creativity. It's back again and it's where we found our spark last year. Rock the Block 2025 is a high-energy, youth-led celebration of music, dance, and street culture. A collision of genres, an explosion of sounds and a meeting of minds, Rock the Block returns and boldly plants itself on the Cruinniú na nÓg map for 2025, daring all young music-makers to come along and be heard! The Walls Project Wonder Walls for Cruinniú na nÓg invites young people across Ireland to spark their creativity and be part of an exciting hands-on street art experience! Throughout May, workshops will take place in 13 locations across Ireland. Guided by a professional mural artist, participants will explore techniques, experiment with colour and design, and bring their ideas to life through street art and graffiti. It's all about creativity, self-expression, and learning in a fun and supportive space. This will see 21 youth theatre groups will unite in five regional hubs to collaborate, perform, and celebrate their creativity as part of the Youth Theatre Ireland project. Over the past few months, 20 youth theatres across the island have been creating, writing, designing, directing, and rehearsing to showcase their talents on Cruinniú na nÓg Day 2025. We Own the Castle A live youth music festival set in the historic surrounds of Swords Castle, giving young performers a chance to take centre stage.

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity announces ‘Rock the Block' 2025 to take place in September
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity CEO Jessica Diederich, President of the Neighborhood Association for Fisk Addition Anna Kolb and Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich gathered on Tuesday to announce the dates for Rock the Block 2025. The Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity's Rock the Block 2025 is set for September 25-27, as volunteers are invited to join forces for good, rebuilding and revitalizing neighborhoods. Last year was the inaugural year for Rock the Block, as over two dozen homeowners in De Pere to help revitalize homes. Diederich said that the impact was more than just physical. Green Bay Polar Plunge® raises money for Special Olympians, invites attendees to jump in freezing cold Fox River 'Last year, over 30 homeowners participated in revitalization efforts transforming their homes and strengthening their neighborhoods,' Diederich said. 'Beyond the physical repairs and improvements, the most profound impact was how the program brought people together.' From yard maintenance to exterior home repairs, Rock the Block is designed to 'elevate the community with well-maintained neighborhoods,' the official Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity website says. 'We've been really excited about bringing Habitat [for Humanity] and Rock the Block to the city of Green Bay,' Mayor Genrich said. 'The city of Green Bay and Habitat for Humanity have been partnering for decades, but with each year, it becomes a stronger and more meaningful partnerhsip.'
