Student arrested following alleged threat at Rockwood High School
KINGSTON, Tenn. (WATE) — A Rockwood High School student was arrested Tuesday after allegedly making a threat.
School officials were made aware of the alleged threat at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a release from the Roane County Sheriff's Office. It was reported to law enforcement and the student involved has been arrested.

There is no danger to students or staff at this time.

'Our agency takes all threats seriously and responds with swift and appropriate action,' said Chief Deputy Tim Phillips. 'We appreciate the quick reporting by school personnel and the cooperation of students.'
