North West 200 schedule: Practice and race times for 2025

Fans will be treated to nine fuel-injected races in 2025, with the opening Superbike race kicking off Thursday's schedule. When and where is the North West 200? The NW200 takes place from Wednesday, May 7 to Saturday, May 10 with a number of other events held across the race week. When is the racing? There are three races on Thursday evening, with a further six held on Saturday. Practice schedule Practice will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, with roads closed from 9am to 3pm on both days. When is the racing? Three races will be held on Thursday, May 8 with the opener at 5.30pm and the last race starting at 7.15pm. Road closures Roads close on Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm for practice, and then from 4.45pm to 9pm for racing. Roads can close on Saturday from 9am to 7pm. North West 200 road closures for 2025 event

The international motorsport extravaganza attracts a huge crowd over the entire bike week, with some of the best racers in the world taking on the famous Triangle circuit. Here is more info on the event and road closures. When is the North West 200? The event runs from Wednesday, May 7 to Saturday, May 10. When is practice? There are two sessions. The first is on Wednesday, with roads closed from 9am to 3pm. The second is on Thursday with roads closed 9am to 3pm. The changes to the road closing legislation now give the organisers of the North West 200, in exceptional circumstances, the ability to move a practice or race day, either one day forward or one day back, giving 24 hours notice to the Department for Infrastructure. Should extreme weather be forecast, the 2025 contingency days will be: Wednesday, May 7 and Friday,May 9. In lieu of using one of the above full contingency days, organisers may also extend the road closing times on Wednesday 7th and Saturday 10th May as follows: Wednesday 9.00am - 3.00pm 5.00pm - 9.00pm Saturday 9.00am - 7.00pm 7.00pm - 9.00pm Road closures Roads in Countries & Antrim comprising the Course Route B185 (Station Road – Cromore Road), from its junction with Portrush Road, Portstewart, Route A2, to its junction with University Park, Coleraine Unclassified No.3522.
