Former White House press secretary spoke at LWBIWH Convention
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The annual 'Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health' presentation had over 600 people in attendance on April 1, at the McNease Convention Center.
Dana Perino served as the White House press secretary during former President George W. Bush's second term in office.

On Tuesday, Perino spoke at the event and talked about First Lady Laura Bush's interest in health care for women around the world and her experiences as a special advisor to President Bush.
'I love being on assignment in San Angelo,' Perino said. 'I made sure that everybody back home knew that I got to come and talk about something that I learned a lot about from President Bush and Miss Bush and which is the importance of community and giving back.'
