Rogers Goodwill outlet reopens after 2024 tornado damages
ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Rogers Goodwill Resource Center (GRC) and Outlet Store is reopening following its closure due to damage sustained during the EF2 tornado that struck Rogers on May 26, 2024.
The store, located at 1301 N. Dixieland Road, will resume operations on Wednesday, May 28, at 9 a.m., according to a news release.
The reopening event will include a short ceremony, and a promotional activity called the 'Bins Bonanza.' Two customers in line when the store opens will be selected to participate in a two-minute shopping spree through the Outlet's bins section, with the opportunity to keep the items they collect.
Closures scheduled for Poplar Street in Rogers for construction
Former Razorback Keith Kidd will serve food from his KDK's Chicken and Waffles truck from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Following the reopening, the Rogers Outlet Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
