Things to do in Richmond this Memorial Day weekend
It's been too long since we've had a long weekend. If you're not traveling for Memorial Day, here's what to do in Richmond.
Thursday, May 22
🛼 There's a Chappell Roan-themed open skate at Rollerdome, but a live cover band will also be playing songs from The Cure, Weezer and Fiona Apple. 6:30pm-9pm. $9.31.
Friday, May 23
🚶🏻♀️ The Valentine has a walking tour of LGBTQ history in Carytown, starting in front of the Byrd Theatre. 3pm-4:30pm. $20 unless you're a kid (then it's free).
🥂 Friday Cheers has RVA Music Nigh t with Dogpark, Weekend Plans & Caroline Vain. 6pm-9:30pm. $10 advance, $15 at the door.
Saturday, May 24
🤤 The Indian and Sri Lankan food Festival is at TPC Church in Glen Allen with dishes like Biryani and Kottu Roti and one of Sabrina's favorite drinks: Mango lassi. 11am-3:30pm. Free.
🅿️ Parking Lot Pull Up is a pop-up entertainment event in Manchester on Cowardin Avenue with food trucks and live music. 4pm-8pm.
Sunday, May 25
👙 ABAC is once again at The Park with " ABigAssDayParty" to start the summer off. 3pm. $17.85.
