Houses have been set alight during two nights of rioting in the Co Antrim town. The disorder broke out after a protest was held after an alleged assault on a teenage girl in the town. Two 14-year-old Romanian boys have appeared in court charged with the offence. The rioting has focused around the Clonavon Terrace area of Ballymena where the alleged attempted rape took place. Houses thought to be occupied by migrants from the Roma-community have been attacked and set alight.
