IT was a heart-rending sight – a middle-aged woman, sitting near the grave of her late son amid a drizzle.
Sinar Harian reported that Rosidah Ibrahim, 53, frequently made the journey from Terengganu to Kedah to visit the final resting place of her son, who passed away six months ago from pneumonia.
Her daughter-in-law Nurul Nabilah Rizal, 32, said Rosidah's presence at the grave is proof of a mother's enduring love.
She said her wish now is to raise their six-year-old son properly and to ensure that he maintains close ties with her mother-in-law.
The video of Rosidah sitting forlornly at the grave was captured by Gurun assemblyman Baddrol Bakhtiar, who happened to be at the cemetery at the time.
> Dangdut singer Mas Idayu and her husband Muhamad Sufian Che Isa have parted ways but the couple remain on good terms, Harian Metro reported.
'We are still friends. What happened is fated. This is the end of the line for us,' said Sufian, who is an executive producer with TV3.
Their three-year marriage was officially dissolved in March at the Shah Alam Syariah Court.
Since their parting was amicable, he said he is prepared to work together with Mas Idayu on TV programmes for the station.
Sufian, 54, and Mas Idayu, 53, were married in September 2022.
