Morocco Fans Left Fuming Over Ticket Prices for Tunisia Friendly
A group of Morocco supporters has hit out at the rising cost of tickets for the national team's upcoming friendly against Tunisia in Fez.
The RossoVerdi ultras, known for backing the Atlas Lions home and away, said the unexpected price hike, especially in the popular curva sections, has priced out many loyal fans. They've urged the authorities to reconsider ahead of Monday's friendly against Benin at the same stadium.
Anger has also spilled over on social media. Fans say tickets vanished quickly from official platforms, only to reappear in the black market at more than triple the original price.
The Moroccan Football Federation has confirmed that Friday's match against Tunisia will be played behind closed doors, with all tickets now sold out.
Tickets for the Benin match will go on sale from Wednesday. Fans can get them via the Webook website or app, with entry to the stadium available directly through digital passes. No need to print or collect anything.
Prices for the Morocco-Benin game are as follows: VIP: MAD 600
Category 1: MAD 150
Category 2: MAD 100
Category 3: MAD 70
The organisers say the new system is designed to make entry easier and ensure matches are run smoothly, especially as the team gears up for major competitions later this year. Tags: friendlyMoroccopricesTunisia
