A post shared by Ronnie O'Sullivan (@ronnie) Known as 'The Rocket', O'Sullivan, the seven-time world snooker champion and a recovering addict, captioned his post: 'We finally made it official!! Mr & Mrs O'Sullivan.' Rouass wrote a longer caption which she concluded with the words 'Free Palestine'. So after almost a year break … this was one way of pressing the refresh button.' With a reference to the high profile nuptials of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, She continued: 'Ok…so it wasn't Venice … that was fully booked (laughing emoji) It was Cable Street in Shadwell where I was born and where my heart belongs. 'It's where in 1936, local activists along with the Jewish community gathered together to demonstrate against the planned fascist BUF marchers and it's on their shoulders we stood today and said our 'I do's'.' Rouass is best known for playing doctor Sahira Shah in Holby City between 2011 and 2021, and Amber Gates in Footballers' Wives, where her character was reportedly based on Victoria Beckham. She has also appeared in Primeval and Spooks, as well as competing as a contestant on the seventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2009, where she was partnered with Anton Du Beke.

(Image: Laila Rouass on Instagram ) Ronnie O'Sullivan has married Laila Rouass just 10 months after they broke up. Rouass herself posted to Instagram to reveal the pair had tied the knot, explaining that "Venice was booked", so the pair decided Cable Street in London would be suitable enough. ‌ They have been engaged since 2013, with O'Sullivan getting down on one knee for the popular actress. They had separated in September 2024, and it was apparently "for good", but now they've committed to a long-term future together. ‌ A friend of the pair told The Sun last year that they had been heading in different directions. O'Sullivan was playing for big money in China and Saudi Arabia, while Rouass had her own ambitions with her acting career. However, it was stated at the time that there was "still a lot of love between them", leaving the door open for rekindling in the future, and that has now come to fruition. "Palestinians have taught me so much, most importantly to honour human connection, make love your motivator and to keep refreshing it. So l suppose after almost a year was one way of pressing the refresh button," wrote Rouass, star of Footballers' Wives, on Instagram. Article continues below "Ok... so it wasn't was fully booked. "It was Cable Street in Shadwell where I was born and where my heart belongs. It's where in 1936, local activists along with the Jewish community gathered together to demonstrate against the planned fascist BUF marchers. "The Battle of Cable Street was used by my father as an example of how a community rooted in justice, can bring we all have a duty to fight for the freedom and rights of others." ‌ The newly-weds are reportedly keen on moving to Dubai together, being just a two-hour flight to O'Sullivan's snooker academy in Saudi Arabia. 'They have been back together for a while," said The Sun's source. 'The time apart gave them time to think about what they want and what is important to them — and that is being together. Ronnie is moving to the Middle East and Laila is going with him. Article continues below 'They've talked about living in Dubai, which is just a two-hour flight from where Ronnie has his snooker academy in Saudi Arabia. 'They have had their issues in the past but Ronnie and Laila have worked through it and seem really happy again. 'The people who know them think they make a great couple and just want them to live a happy, quiet life.'
