UNIQLO Expands in Mumbai with New Store at Inorbit Malad
Japanese global apparel brand UNIQLO continues to strengthen its India presence with the opening of its fourth Mumbai store at Inorbit Mall, Malad. Strategically located in the heart of Malad West, the store brings UNIQLO's LifeWear philosophy—high-quality, timeless, functional clothing—to a vibrant and fast-growing neighbourhood.
This marks the brand's 16th store in India, reflecting UNIQLO's commitment to creating elevated yet accessible fashion for all.
A New Shopping Experience
Spanning nearly 9,000 sq. ft., the store offers the complete Spring/Summer 2025 collection for men, women, kids, and babies, in a sleek, modern environment. Key LifeWear highlights include Premium Linen Shirts, AIRism T-shirts, Linen-Cotton Pants, Bra Tops, and the cult-favourite Round Mini Shoulder Bags—plus the newly launched Roger Federer collection.
Opening Celebrations
The store launch was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by top UNIQLO and Inorbit executives, including Kenji Inoue, CFO & COO of UNIQLO India, and Rajneesh Mahajan, CEO of Inorbit Malls. The first 100 shoppers received UNIQLO shoulder bags and exclusive vouchers from Flury's café.
Shoppers also engaged in a Wish Tree Activation from May 1–15, earning exclusive vouchers and a chance to win their favourite UNIQLO items. Customers spending ₹6,000 or more during the opening weekend received a limited-edition tote bag designed by Mumbai-based illustrator Aashti Miller.
