3 Quebec police officers suspended as SQ investigates alleged illegal activities
Three police officers on Montreal's South Shore are being investigated by Quebec provincial police (SQ) for alleged illegal activities.
Few details are being released about the investigation.
The officers, who have not yet been charged with a crime, are members of the Roussillon police and have been suspended pending the investigation.
The intermunicipal police force covers six jurisdictions on the South Shore, including Candiac, Saint-Constant, and La Prairie.
The SQ would not disclose the nature of the allegations as the investigation is still ongoing but said its internal affairs investigators were on the South Shore Friday to meet with sworn and civilian police members.
