Major warning as pedestrian spotted crossing Dublin's busy M50 motorway & commuters hit with Bus Eireann cancellations
DRIVERS on one of Dublin's busiest motorways have been issued a warning this morning after a pedestrian was spotted crossing the road.

The crossing was spotted on the northbound route of the
Transport Infrastructure Ireland reminded drivers that "safety is in your hands".
Elsewhere, there is debris on the road along the M7/N7 eastbound causing disruptions for drivers.

TII said: "When approaching the area please drive with caution and reduce your speed."
On the M11/N11, a deceased animal, which has since been removed, also caused chaos for motorists.

Route 212 is seeing disruptions between 9.30am and 7.30pm today due to a road closure on Castle Road.

Bus Eireann said: "Cork City Council have advised that to facilitate roadworks, Castle Road will be closed from the junction with Ringmahon Road to the junction with Ferney Road, from Tuesday, 22nd April to Friday, 25th April, inclusive, from 09:30hrs to 19:30hrs daily.

"As a result, Route 212 will operate via Ringmahon Road for the duration of the closure.
"An Garda Siochana will be placing cordons in locations around Pairc Ui Chaoimh on next Sunday 27th of April from 11.00 to approx. 19.00."
