First day of NFL Draft to bring showers in the morning, mild temperatures
Since the Green Bay Packers were named host of the 2025 draft there's been one question: how will Wisconsin's finnicky April weather welcome the NFL?
Not that bad, it turns out.
While thunderstorm and showers are possible the early morning of April 24, the National Weather Service's Green Bay Office forecasts the opening day of the draft to be nice as temperatures could reach up to 62 degrees and a light breeze of up to 10 miles per hour is expected.

"Looks like there's a chance of rain this morning... then it should dry out," said Roy Eckberg, a meteorologist at NWS's Green Bay office.
April 24's chance of precipitation sits at 30%, according to the NWS.
While the opening day of the draft will be welcoming to attendees, April 25 could be less pleasant. A blustering wind is going to add a chill to the day, with highs dropping to the 50s, Eckberg said.
Rain was likely after 5 a.m. on April 25, he said. That day's rain is expected to last most of morning, before tapering off in the early to mid-afternoon.
"Right now, it looks like going to be a little cooler than usual," he said of April 25. "It's going to be breezy and cool."

Outside of rain and higher-than-usual traffic, Eckberg said people driving to and from Green Bay for the draft shouldn't have concern.
The rest of the weekend should be dry, according to the NWS forecast. April 26 is forecast with a high of 58 degrees and April 27 has a high of 63 degrees.
Draft events will only be postponed in the case of extreme weather that threatens public safety. Information for fans will be available on pushed out via the NFL OnePass app and announced over the PA system on-site.
