Irish racecourses are organically atmospheric places where, love it or hate it, the dominant fuel of choice is alcohol. Sadly, this is becoming increasingly more problematic and is doing horse racing's reputation no favours.
Recent unsavoury scenes from the 'Royal Ascot Rumble' is a reminder of racing's ugly drink culture. Even though anti-social behaviour is a feature of racecourses for centuries, social media is bringing it more to our attention.
