Fires ‘intentionally set' in Guelph park

An investigation is underway into a series of suspicious fires in a Guelph park.
On Saturday, at around 11:45 p.m., first responders were called to Royal City Park.
There they found five garbage containers, along the footpath between Gordon Street and McCrae Boulevard, on fire.
The Guelph Police Service said four of the plastic bins were completely melted.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who saw anyone or anything suspicious in the park that night.
