Lulu announces new memoir and tour coming to Glasgow
The book, due to hit shelves on Thursday, September 25, 2025, will present a more personal side of the Scottish music icon.
The Dennistoun singer intends to share parts of her life previously kept away from the public eye.

The memoir incorporates stories featuring stars like The Beatles and David Bowie, showcasing her journey as a young woman in the male-dominated music industry.
Reflecting on a career filled with stardom and resilience, If Only You Knew tells the story of her rise to fame as a teenager and her efforts to reinvent herself over the decades.
Alongside the book's release, Lulu is scheduling a series of events across the UK as part of her If Only You Knew tour, where fans will have the opportunity to see Lulu in a new light.

The special events will feature candid discussions about her memoir interspersed with a selection of her songs.
Each two-hour-long session will also feature visuals and videos enhancing the stories Lulu tells.
The tour will come to Glasgow's Royal Concert on September 30 this year.

The announcement of the upcoming memoir and tour follows what has been a fruitful period in Lulu's career.
Following her sold-out UK tour, Champagne For Lulu, which required an additional leg due to high demand, she continued to engage fans with her lively performances.

Lulu has received numerous accolades during her career spanning generations, including being a former Eurovision Song Contest winner and a Bond theme singer for The Man With The Golden Gun in 1974.
She also released the biggest-selling record in the US in 1967, To Sir With Love, and was notably among the first pop artists to perform behind the Iron Curtain in Poland.
This year also saw Lulu launch her very own podcast, Turning Points, in collaboration with Spotify, and she announced the formation of her charitable fund, Lulu's Mental Health Trust.
This initiative was inspired by the journey she embarked on while writing her memoir.
