Everland selects lucky couple to have park to themselves on Valentine's Day
Having an entire theme park to yourself for a romantic date night sounds like a Korean drama cliche -- but it is happening in real life for one lucky couple.
South Korea's largest theme park in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, on Friday selected the pair, who will have the entire park to themselves on Valentine's Day.
Everland said it notified of the couple individually. They couple was chosen among those who applied for the once-in-a-lifetime night out by commenting on the special event's post on Everland's official Instagram account, which garnered more than 7,000 comments between Tuesday and Thursday when the application closed.
The two lovebirds will have Everland exclusively to themselves for two hours after the theme park closes to the public at 8 p.m.
They will also have the opportunity to walk around Everland's gardens, known for their nocturnal splendor, ride the Royal Jubilee Carousel, shop at the Moomin-themed store and enjoy churros.
As part of the event, the couple will also have their date filmed by a professional, and if the couple agrees, the video will be shared on the amusement park's social media accounts.
