Nellore rural sees record development with 339 works completed ahead of schedule
TIRUPATI
:
Nellore rural assembly constituency
is witnessing a new era of development with the inauguration of a record number of 339
development works
at one single go on Thursday.
It may be recalled that Nellore rural MLA
Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy
laid the foundation stone for 339 development works to be executed across the constituency with an outlay of Rs.41 cr on Mar 16 earlier this year.
While he had set a deadline of completing all the development works in a record span of just 60 days and set May 20th as the date of inauguration of all the development works, the works were completed by a week in advance, prompting to prepone the inauguration works.
State municipal administration minister Ponguru Narayana along with
Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy
and Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy inaugurated a slew of development works at the 24th division in the city on Thursday.
The honours of inaugurating 300 odd other development works were entrusted to the NDA alliance party workers and the local population was also made part of the inauguration spree at the constituency level.
Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu
appreciated the efforts of the Nellore rural legislator for living up to the expectations of the people of his assembly constituency by completing the record number of 339 development works within a short span of two months.
