How Pakistani women in Australia are celebrating Eid al-Adha

Rukhshanda Zaman sees Eid as a time of sacrifice and compassion, using the occasion to teach her children about its deeper meaning. Shafaq Jaffery is not only taking part in the festivities but also turning the celebration into a moment of service. She is organising a special screening of the Pakistani film Love Guru to raise funds for those in need.
Rukhshanda says that even while living in Australia, she upholds Eid traditions with deep devotion. According to her, the true message of Eid al-Adha is sacrifice, gratitude, and sharing joy with others. Shafaq adds that the spirit of Eid lies in spreading happiness, which is why she has woven this charitable effort into the heart of her celebrations.
