Cottondale wins first regional series in 23 years
COTTONDALE, Fla. (WMBB) – The Cottondale baseball team defeated Blountstown 8-6 Tuesday night, advancing to the regional finals for the first time since 2002.
The Hornets win the best-of-three series 2-0 and will host Port St. Joe in the Rural Region Finals on Monday, May 5.
Blountstown finished its season with a 10-18 overall record.
