ISFA announces strategic partnership with Russia Franchise Federation
The Indian Small Business & Franchise Association (ISFA) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Russia Franchise Federation, formalised through a recent Memorandum of Understanding signed in Moscow. ISFA announced that the agreement marks a significant step in strengthening international collaboration in the franchising sector.
The MoU aims to promote entrepreneurship and the growth of small and medium enterprises in both India and Russia, ISFA announced in a press release. The partnership sets out a joint framework for cooperation, including information exchange, regular dialogue, and joint initiatives to support existing and aspiring entrepreneurs. It also aims to co-develop programmes that encourage franchise development and create an enabling environment for the global expansion of Indian and Russian brands.
'Franchising is no longer just a business model- it's a global language of entrepreneurship,' said ISFA chairman Gaurav Marya in a press release. 'This partnership between ISFA and the Russia Franchise Federation is a progressive step toward building an inclusive and borderless franchise ecosystem.'
The collaboration will include co-hosted training programmes, exhibitions, and forums, along with cross-platform promotion of franchise content. Both organisations will also work to identify new business and government partners and encourage participation in global entrepreneurial events. The initiative is expected to deepen India-Russia business ties and expand the international reach of their franchise networks through coordinated, long-term efforts.
