Salma Hayek Strips Down In Sexy Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Shoot

The Mexican-born actress was photographed in her home country by Ruven Afanador. Set at the Cuixmala luxury resort, Hayek explains how much gracing the cover of SI Swimsuit always meant to her, but she never expected to receive the honor just shy of 60 years old. 'I remember when I was young, a long, long time ago, I was always excited to see the Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated , and [thinking] 'Who's going to be in it?' Of course, I didn't look like a model, so it never crossed my mind that one day I would be in it,' Hayek Pinault said. 'If somebody had told me I was gonna be in it at 58, I would have sent them to the madhouse, but the world has changed, and that's exciting.' Source: Ruven Afanador for SI / Ruven Afanador for SI Starting in the 1990s, she made her name for herself in the States with roles like Desperado and From Dusk till Dawn , she's since turned into a successful producer and women's rights advocate. She's also married to François-Henri Pinault, the son of billionaire François Pinault, who founded Kering, which owns luxury brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, and Balenciaga. But still, that sex symbol label is just as present as it was 20 years ago when she flooded People 's '50 Most Beautiful People' list, Maxim 's Hot 100, and FHM 's 100 Sexiest Women in the World list. Now, with showing off her body in the SI Swimsuit edition, she's embracing it all and letting other ladies her age know life doesn't end once you turn 50. 'I feel so fortunate that I am part of a generation that has been able to really experience very tangible change,' she said. 'I could retire, but I don't want to miss out on this time. I fought for it, you know, and I've been part of it, and I think it's really remarkable that a magazine like Sports Illustrated [ Swimsuit ] says that it's O.K., maybe even cool, to be past 50 and still be able to feel not just sexy, but for me, to be free and not be self-conscious of your body like you have to hide.' She proves it in a series of shots of her lying on the sandy beaches of Mexico, under a water fountain, posing from behind, and topless in a pool. Salma Hayek, 58, flaunts her enviable curves in slew of tiny bikinis before posing topless in racy behind-the-scenes look at Sports Illustrated shoot

Salma Hayek has set pulses racing as she treated her followers to more steamy behind-the-scenes content from her photoshoot for the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The actress, 58, stunned fans on Wednesday as she landed the sought-after cover, looking nothing less than sensational as she displayed her toned figure in a sparkly bikini. And she followed it up with an even sexier montage of clips from the photoshoot, showing her strutting down the beach, writhing on the sand, and stripping topless in a swimming pool. Salma also voiced her gratitude to the magazine and photographer Ruven Afanador for the 'most fun shoot' and allowing her to be snapped in her home country of Mexico. In the caption, she penned in both English and Spanish: 'Thank you @ruvenafanador and @sportsiillustrated @si_swimsuit for one of the most fun shoots of my life and for granting me my wish for shooting it in my beloved home country Mexico. #siswim2025 #VIVAMEXICO' The video showed the Frida star sending temperatures soaring as she donned a shimmery copper bikini and posed up a storm in an outside shower. She also was seen modelling a bright red two-piece under a flowing matching cover-up, while a crew member used a wind machine for added dramatic effect. Salma oozed confidence as she posed from every angle in a number of tiny two-pieces, showing off her ample cleavage, chiselled midriff and long legs. While she also ditched her bikini top at one point for some ultra sexy photos in a swimming pool, strategically wrapping her arms around her chest to preserve her modesty. The brunette beauty was later seen celebrating becoming one of the few actresses to pose for the prestigious cover, as she stepped out in New York City. She was seen making her exit from Angelina Jolie's artistic and tailoring space, Atelier Jolie, clutching a copy of cookbook, The Kitchen without Borders: Recipes and Stories from Refugee and Immigrant Chefs. Salma looked effortlessly chic in a navy blue jacket and matching wide-legged trousers, over a simple black shirt and a chunky gold chain. Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the Oscar-nominated star admitted she couldn't believe that she had landed the exclusive cover, as she 'didn't look like a model' during her younger years. She said: 'I remember when I was young, a long, long time ago, I was always excited to see the Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated. In the caption, she penned in both English and Spanish: 'Thank you @ruvenafanador and @sportsiillustrated @si_swimsuit for one of the most fun shoots of my life and for granting me my wish for shooting it in my beloved home country Mexico. #siswim2025 #VIVAMEXICO' The video showed the Frida star sending temperatures soaring as she donned a shimmery copper bikini and posed up a storm in an outside shower 'I was thinking, "Who's going to be in it?" 'If somebody had told me I was gonna be in it at 58, I would have sent them to the madhouse, but the world has changed, and that's exciting.' Salma said she was pleased to see that women over 50 were allowed to feel sexy and insisted she would embrace life 'to the fullest'. The Eternals star said: 'I think it's really remarkable that a magazine like Sports Illustrated says that it's OK, maybe even cool, to be past 50 and still be able to feel not just sexy, but for me, to be free and not be self-conscious of your body like you have to hide. 'I don't see why, after a certain age, we have to retract ourselves from embracing life to the fullest.' The mother-of-one said she's witnessed a 'very tangible change' in attitudes in recent years, adding: 'I feel so fortunate that I am part of a generation that has been able to really experience very tangible change.' Salma - who is married to businessman Francois-Henri Pinault - also appeared on the Today show with Savannah Guthrie to admit she said she could not 'believe' she had appeared on the cover at the age of 58. She admitted: 'I remember when I was young and hot, I used to look at this magazine. I wanted to see who was the new gorgeous model, the new girl of the moment. 'And it never crossed my mind that I could be on that cover because they didn't look like me. 'My body's not necessarily the model type and I never thought that was a possibility. And for it to happen when I'm 58? It's really shocking'.
