Barrow back for more at Cardiff Devils
Canadian forward Ryan Barrow has re-signed for Cardiff Devils for the 2025-26 28, has spent the past two campaigns in the Welsh capital, scoring 14 goals and contributing 25 assists for 39 points in 60 games in his first season there, season he added nine goals and 21 assists for 30 points in 59 games, but also missed 12 games through injury before returning to help Devils triumph in the Continental Cup final in head coach Paul Thompson, who has taken over for the forthcoming campaign, said: "I'm happy to see Ryan is coming back for his third year as a Devil."Watching lots of tape of Ryan he really does empty the tank every game. Devils beat Blaze to reach play-offs
Cole Sanford struck in overtime as Cardiff Devils edged Coventry Blaze in a tense Elite League encounter to secure their place in the playoff quarter-finals. Ryan Barrow opened the scoring for the visitors, but Blaze were soon level as Chase Gresock found the target. Devils seized the initiative as Kohen Olischefski struck as the end of the first period loomed and Sean Duggan added their third. But the hosts fought back with Alessio Luciani cutting the deficit before Kim Tallberg equalised. However, Devils had the final word as Sanford earned victory as they stayed fourth in the table. They are next in action on Sunday, 9 March in the Welsh capital against third-placed Nottingham Panthers.

Devils beaten at home by title rivals Giants
Belfast Giants maintained their position at the top of the Elite League with a 4-1 victory away at second-placed Cardiff returned to league action after winning the Continental Cup and with Saturday's game at Fife Flyers was called off after storm damage to the hosts' venue Devils went ahead through Ryan Barrow in the first period but Gabe Best, Zak Galambos and a power play goal from Ben Lake saw Giants take control in the second Piccinich's goal in the final period sealed a significant win for Giants over their title rivals.
