Shia LaBeouf is a Lion at heart as he picks up groceries with wife Mia Goth

Shia LaBeouf stepped out in Pasadena this weekend looking a far cry from his former self. The one-time child star, 39, was seen picking up groceries at Erewhon with his wife Mia Goth before she heads to the UK to film her next movie. Wearing a Detroit Lions T-shirt, shorts, sandals and a mesh ball cap, Shia's hair was closely cropped hair and he sported a bushy mustache. The rare outing comes just weeks after a documentary about him allegedly being violent premiered at Cannes Film Festival and just a couple months before he is set to head to court with an ex-girlfriend. Meanwhile, Mia is set to begin filming for an upcoming Star Wars spinoff alongside Ryan Gosling. During their outing, she looked casual-chic in a white, long-sleeved top, which was cropped to show off her bare midriff, and bright yellow shorts. She sported gray sneakers teamed with a black backpack and oversize sunglasses after stopping by the upscale grocery chain. She was seen walking out with a grocery bag in hand and a bottle of green juice while her partner was walking hands-free. Shia and Mia have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2012 when they first met on the set of the movie Nymphomaniac: Vol. II. They got married in 2016 but briefly separated two years later before reconciling and welcoming their daughter Isabel in 2022. He first rose to Disney Channel fame for his role as Louis Stevens on the hit series Even Stevens, winning a Daytime Emmy in 2003. Afterwards, he transitioned to film and played the leading star of the hit family comedy Holes that same year. He then went on to star opposite Megan Fox in the Transformers in 2007. Shia and Mia's outing comes weeks ahead of his trial, scheduled for September, against FKA Twigs after the singer sued her ex-boyfriend in 2020. Her lawsuit against him saw him charged with assault, sexual battery and infliction of emotional distress over the course of their nearly year-long relationship due to his 'relentless abuse.' The pair had started dating after she was cast in his mostly autobiographical 2019 film Honey Boy. He and Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, dated from mid-2018 to mid-2019. He initially responded and acknowledged her charges but has since denied the allegations. Amid the scandal, he has stepped back from acting with only minor appearances sprinkled throughout the past few years. In March, one of his latest movies Salvable was released, being the third movie he has appeared in since 2020. In the past half decade, he has also made appearances in The Tax Collector and Pieces Of A Woman. In May a documentary painting him in a once again unflattering light premiered at Cannes Film Festival. First-time director Leo Lewis O'Neil's documentary, Slauson Rec, explores the experimental theater company LaBeouf previously launched in LA in 2018. The new documentary included footage of him being violent with students, drawing from several years' worth of intimate video recordings he signed off on.

Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell starring in Tough Guys

Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell are to star in Tough Guys. The pair are in talks to join the cast and produce the action-comedy that is in development at Amazon MGM Studios. A synopsis for the film reads: "Fed up with being 'disposable', two henchmen break free from the criminal underworld and rewrite the rules as they abandon their ruthless boss and dodge the elite assassin on their trail." Gosling, 44, is said to have helped bring Ferrell on board for the flick after he was won over by the script, which has been written by Daniel Gold. The two actors have existing relationships with Amazon MGM and Ryan will star in the studio's sci-fi movie Project Hail Mary next year. Will, 58, is also a regular in the studio's projects and featured in the rom-com You're Cordially Invited earlier this year. Gosling is in talks to serve as a producer on Tough Guys alongside Jessie Henderson through their General Admission banner while Ferrell is also in negotiations to produce with Jessica Elbaum through Gloria Sanchez Productions. Meanwhile, Ryan is set to star in the upcoming Star Wars movie Star Wars: Starfighter and director Shawn Levy has backed the Barbie star to bring a "uniquely cool ethos" to the long-running sci-fi franchise. The Deadpool and Wolverine filmmaker said: "If you can have Ryan Gosling in anything you make, do that, because that's going to make the thing so much better and cooler." Levy is convinced that the Hollywood heartthrob and Star Wars will be a match made in heaven. The 56-year-old director said: "I haven't seen that pairing, and that gets me really excited." Gosling's starring role was confirmed at a Star Wars Celebration event in Tokyo in April and Shawn said during the announcement that collaborating with the La La Land actor was a "dream come true". He said: "I had heard at one point that my movie was going to star Ryan Gosling and, believe me, that would be a dream come true for me. So today, I just wanted to tell you here in this room that that rumour is 100 per cent true." The Night at the Museum helmer is determined to tell a "new and original" Star Wars story. He explained: "[There are] so many opportunities to tell a Star Wars story that has all the heart and action and fun of Star Wars, but to do it in ways that are new and original." Ryan explained that the movie is a true passion project as he has loved the franchise since he was a child – with pictures of his Star Wars bedsheets shown to the audience at the event. He said: "The reality is that this script is just so good. It has such a great story with great and original characters. "It's filled with so much heart and adventure, and there just really is not a more perfect filmmaker for this particular story than Shawn. "You can see from the picture, I guess I was probably dreaming about Star Wars before I even saw the film. "And it's probably framed my idea of what a movie even was."
