Another killer who drank from an old well of hatred
It's hard not to think that many in this city live with death as their constant companion.
On Sunday evening, D.C. police responded to the sounds of gunshots on Benning Road SE and found 36-year-old Ryan Matthews unconscious and not breathing. D.C. Fire and EMS pronounced him dead.
Tuesday afternoon, police responded to report of a shooting on 26th Street NE and, upon arriving, located 31-year-old Kian-Wayne Magruder suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire also pronounced him dead.
