Florida baseball vs USF: Gators fall flat in home loss to Bulls

Florida baseball had its four-game win streak snapped with a 7-1 loss to USF on Tuesday night at Condron Family Ballpark. The Florida Gators (33-17, 11-13 SEC) struggled to generate offense in their final non-conference game, scoring their lone run when third baseman Brendan Lawson came home from third on a throwing error in the fourth inning. After pounding out 39 runs over the weekend at South Carolina, the Gators mustered just three hits. Left fielder Marcus Brodil put USF ahead to stay, belting an RBI double off Philpott to put the Bulls ahead 2-1.
