Cash prizes and certificates were presented to 76 students and 17 teachers who guided the students. Tamil Sangom patrons R. Murugan and S. Gouthaman gave away the prizes. Its president M. Muthuraman presided. Scientist P. Sasikumar and writer Jothimani M. conducted a seminar on environmental protection for students.
