Stafford County deputies investigate series of car break-ins
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is investigating a series of car break-ins that occurred Wednesday in various neighborhoods.
Deputies received numerous calls shortly before 4 a.m. regarding car break-ins and tampering across neighborhoods near Richmond Highway including: the Potomac Hills Subdivision, the Stone River Subdivision, the Clearview Mobile Home Park, and the Potomac Village Subdivision.

According to deputies, cash, credit cards, high-end clothing, iPads, a firearm, and a Hyundai were reported stolen by four people wearing masks.
Deputies are urging residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and to lock their doors, as many vehicles involved in the break-ins were unlocked.
