Madison County outdoor sirens repaired
MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The director of Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency says the outdoor warning siren system has been repaired.
According to the director, the siren system failed the monthly test on Feb. 2. However, technicians were able to resolve the issue and the sirens are now operational.
The director urges people to have multiple ways of getting emergency warnings, including a NOAA weather radio, local media and weather apps such as Alabama SAF-T-Net and Huntsville's Regroup alert.
