Pretty in Pink star Andrew McCarthy shares rare photo of daughter Willow on her prom night with nostalgic nod to 80s classic
Pretty in Pink alum Andrew McCarthy shared a rare snap of his 18-year-old daughter Willow wearing her blue prom dress in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday. 'My daughter Willow went to her prom tonight,' the 62-year-old Brat Packer announced to his 539K Facebook followers. 'She did not wear pink.' The Nord Anglia International School Dublin grad has already been accepted into NYU's class of 2029 - the same college her famous father was expelled from. Willow is every bit the nepo baby having acted in three Broadway plays by the age of 13, and her last professional credit was playing Lisa Spencer in Michael Morrissey's 2021 horror film The Girl Who Got Away. She did not wear pink' Andrew and his second wife of 13 years - Irish theatre director Dolores Rice - are also proud parents of 11-year-old son Rowan. McCarthy fathered 23-year-old son Sam - last seen acting in Disney+ reboot Goosebumps: The Vanishing - during his six-year marriage to NYU sweetheart Carol Schneider, which ended in 2005. And in 2021, the nepo baby impressively scored a SAG Award nomination for being apart of the talented ensemble behind Netflix's Dead to Me. The eighties heartthrob's caption was referring to Howard Deutch's 1986 romantic dramedy Pretty in Pink, in which his rich character Blane attempts to woo back poor girlfriend Andie (Molly Ringwald) at the prom. On June 7, Andrew reunited with his Pretty in Pink castmate Jon Cryer as well as fellow Brat Packers Ally Sheedy and Demi Moore at the Tribeca premiere of his Hulu documentary Brats in Lower Manhattan. Between 2015–2023, McCarthy directed 26 episodes of NBC's The Blacklist, which starred his Pretty in Pink bestie James Spader. Last July, Rob Lowe revealed he's been developing a sequel for Joel Schumacher's 1985 film St. Elmo's Fire with Columbia Pictures, so the New Jersey-born travel writer might get to reprise his character Kevin Dolenz. 'The studio and I have been talking about doing it for about four months,' the 61-year-old Emmy nominee told ET. '[Andrew's doc] Brats has only added to the excitement around it. But it's very, very, very, very, very early stages, so we will see.' McCarthy fathered 23-year-old son Sam - last seen acting in Disney+ reboot Goosebumps: The Vanishing (pictured) - during his six-year marriage to NYU sweetheart Carol Schneider, which ended in 2005 Mare Winningham, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Demi Moore, and Emilio Estevez also starred in the dismally-reviewed drama about seven Georgetown University graduates, which earned $37.8M from a $10M budget at the box office. The song St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion) hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for two weeks in 1985, and Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire (the instrumental theme) reached No. 15. Andrew will soon make his acting comeback in Jonathan Baker's upcoming romance Fate alongside Harvey Keitel, Faye Dunaway, and Mena Suvari. McCarthy has an acting role in Jaco Bouwer's sci-fi flick Orion, which began post production on February 26. Andrew is also known for his memorable roles in Mannequin (1987), Less Than Zero (1987), and Weekend at Bernie's (1989).

Bikini-clad Isla Fisher, 49, jokes she should be 'nominated for a SAG Award' as she reveals her boobs 'don't sit where they used to'
Bikini-clad Isla Fisher joked that she should be nominated for a SAG Award as she revealed her boobs 'don't sit where they used to' on social media on Monday. The Wedding Crashers star, 49, appeared to be enjoying her single status as she lived it up on a girls' trip to a sun-soaked location over the bank holiday weekend. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the beauty posed up a storm in a colourful bikini while laying on a sun bed. Despite showing off her incredible figure in the two-piece, the actress claimed her body isn't how it used to be. She penned on a sizzling snap: 'My girls are out, they aren't where they used to be.. but then neither am I!' 'I may not get an Oscar, but I could be nominated for a SAG award,' she joked on another. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The red-haired beauty was joined by fashion stylist Martha Ward on her idyllic getaway. It comes after Isla recently opened up about her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen and how the end of their marriage changed her life. The Aussie actress split with the Borat creator, 53, at the end of 2023 after 13 years of marriage. Speaking to Stellar, Isla revealed that now she is single again and her children are growing up, she is planning to re-focus her efforts on her work. 'I think because of the challenges I've gone through in the last two years, I don't see that it will change much,' Isla admitted. She added her career had previously been put on the 'backburner' while she raised her children with Sacha. Earlier this year, the actress and her ex shared a friendly exchange on social media amid reports their divorce was getting 'messy'. The exes engaged with one another on the Australian star's recent Instagram post, which shows her in a sultry photoshoot for Style Magazine. 'Stunning,' the British actor complimented his former wife in the comments below the post, which he also 'liked'. Isla replied some hours later, tagging her ex-partner and writing, 'Thank you'. The friendly interaction occurred amid reports her amicable divorce from comedian Sacha is set to turn sour as they divide their £60million (AUD$119million) fortune. Sources close to the actor said 'it's war' and 'any remaining veneer of civility has gone' after Isla opened up about how she was handling their separation. Isla and Sacha revealed in a joint statement in April, 2024 they had 'quietly separated' the year before. 'After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down,' they told fans. Discussing the split with the Sunday Times, Isla said: 'It's the most difficult thing that I've been through and I've learnt so much about myself in the process. 'I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents.' Isla explained her own parents separated when she was nine-years-old and admitted their peaceful arrangement was what she now strives for. She said: 'It was very harmonious, I don't ever remember them fighting about anything… they were very inclusive of each other.'

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet make their red carpet debut in Rome
CNN — Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet stepped out together on Wednesday at an event in Rome, marking their first-ever joint appearance on a red carpet. The couple posed for photos together at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards red carpet in the Italian capital on Wednesday. Chalamet was honored with a David Award – the Italian equivalent of the Academy Award – for cinematic excellence at the ceremony, an honor that highlighted his contributions to the film industry. Jenner and the 'Dune' star both wore black ensembles and held hands while posing for photos together. While they have been romantically linked since 2023, Jenner and Chalamet have mostly kept details about their relationship under wraps. The couple have, however, attended several events together over the past two years, particularly throughout Chalamet's awards season run for 'A Complete Unknown,' but had never appeared on a red carpet together. Chalamet portrayed Bob Dylan in that film, earning nominations in the lead actor category in races including the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and BAFTAs. Jenner accompanied him to all three of those award shows, which took place earlier this year. (While Chalamet lost out on the Oscar, Globe and BAFTA, he took home the prize at the Screen Actors Guild awards in February.) They also attended the BNP Paribas Indian Wells Open in Southern California in March together, where they were seen looking comfortable with one another at their seats. The joint appearance this week comes after Jenner attended the 2025 Met Gala in New York City on Monday, sans Chalamet. The reality star wore a look created for her by Ferragamo designer Maximilian Davis.

Jane Fonda makes thinly veiled dig at Donald Trump at 2025 SAG Awards
A defiant Jane Fonda aimed a thinly veiled dig at Donald Trump, warning that 'a lot of people are going to be hurt by what's coming our way,' during her acceptance speech for the SAG-Aftra Lifetime Achievement award. The veteran actress, 87, overcame a brief technical glitch to convey her powerful message of hope and unity, warning the room of A-listers 'we must not isolate, we must stay in community, we must help the vulnerable.' Fonda was presented with the prestigious award at the 31st annual SAG awards, which took place at the Shrine in Los Angeles, on Sunday evening. Though Fonda did not name Trump by name she gave a shout out to Sebastian Stan, who plays the president in The Apprentice. 'Though you may hate the behavior of your character, you have to understand and empathize with the traumatized person you're playing,' she said. 'Empathy is not weak or 'woke.' And, by the way, 'woke' just means you give a damn about other people,' she said. 'A whole lot of people are going to be really hurt by what is happening, what is coming our way. And even if they are of different persuasion we need to call upon our empathy and listen with our hearts and welcome them into our tent. Because we are going to need a big tent to resist successfully what is coming at us.' Fonda added: 'We are in our documentary moment. We mustn't for a moment kid ourselves about what is happening…We must not isolate, we must stay in community, we must help the vulnerable. 'We must find ways to project an inspiriting vision of the future.' As well as her decades-long career on stage and screen, Fonda is well-known for her civil rights activism, having been vocal on issues including gender equality, anti-war and the global climate crisis. In October 2019, Fonda was arrested five times for protesting outside the United States Capitol for reduction in the use of fossil fuels. Fonda's passionate speech was also derailed when the pre-recorded announcer started speaking over her. She laughed off the incident, declaring 'I can conjure up voices!'
