Dakota Valley's Sailer earns top-five finish at SDHSAA Class A Girls State Golf, Vermillion places fourth in team scores
MADISON, S.D. (KCAU) – Dakota Valley's Addicyn Sailer finished in a tie for fifth place at the SDHSAA Class A Girls Golf State Tournament, scoring 24-over-par while teammate Katie Betsworth logged a score of 30-over-par to end in a tie for ninth place at Madison Golf and Country Club.
The Vermillion duo of Georgia Johnson and Ronnie Wilharm both finished 32-over-par, tying for 12th place.
Sailor Kommes of Elk Point-Jefferson finished in 40th place.
In the race for the team title, Vermillion placed fourth (+144).
