Lady Vols' SEC opponents announced for 2025-26 basketball season
The SEC announced its women's basketball league schedule for the 2025-26 season.
Each team will play 16 conference games and the league slate will include a single set of round robin contests, in addition to one rotating opponent, which will be played twice (both home and away). Each conference team will play eight home games with a rotating opponent changing annually. Tennessee's rotating opponent this season will be Mississippi State.
The Lady Vols will host Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. Tennessee will play at Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
The Lady Vols are ranked No. 7 in ESPN's way-too-early top 25. Six of Tennessee's SEC opponents are ranked in the poll, including South Carolina (No. 1), Texas (No. 4), LSU (No. 5), Oklahoma (No. 6), Vanderbilt (No. 11) and Ole Miss (No. 13).
Dates, game times and television information will be available at a later date, as will the remainder of Tennessee's schedule.
Three nonconference games have already been announced. The Lady Vols will open their season on Nov. 9 against North Carolina State in Greensboro, North Carolina. Tennessee will play at Stanford in the ACC/SEC Women's Basketball Challenge on Dec. 3. The Lady Vols will also play Louisville on Dec. 20 in the Shark Champions Women's Basketball Classic in Brooklyn, New York.
