Airspace closure hits Jaipur flight schedule
Jaipur: Flight schedules at Jaipur airport were disturbed due to airspace restrictions, with flight services to Dubai being cancelled. Three international flights were cancelled Tuesday morning.
The Jaipur airport issued an advisory stating that due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East, flight operations from Jaipur International Airport were impacted. The airport requested passengers to check with their respective airlines on the status of their flights before arriving at the airport. On Tuesday, two international flights taking off from Jaipur airport, which included Air India Express flight IX 195, Jaipur to Dubai scheduled for 5:30am, and SpiceJet flight SG 57, Jaipur to Dubai scheduled for 8:55am, were cancelled.
A SpiceJet flight SG 58 from Dubai to Jaipur, scheduled to land here at 7:55am, was also cancelled Tuesday. Many passengers learnt that the flights were cancelled after reaching the airport, leading to inconvenience.
An Air India Express flight IX 3063 from Jaipur to Jeddah at 6:15pm was delayed and departed at 6: Airlines issued a statement on X, "Due to airspace closure in the Middle East, some of our flights may be affected. Passengers are advised to check their flight status…"
Air India Express shared, "Some of our flights may be delayed or cancelled due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East…"
