8-year-old among 3 people injured after accident in Boon Lay

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Upper Jurong Road and Pioneer Road North at 9.50am. Two cars and a motorcycle were involved in the accident. A 31-year-old male motorcyclis t, a 34-year-old female car driver, and her 8-year-old female passenger were taken conscious to the National University Hospital. The car driver is assisting with ongoing investigations, the police said. Photos posted on the SGRV Front Man Facebook page on June 17 show two cars that appear to have been involved in a T-bone collision. A motorcycle helmet can be seen near the front right wheel of one of the cars, which sustained damage to its bumper. One photo shows a motorcycle lying on its side on the road. PHOTO: SGRV FRONT MAN/FACEBOOK Police searching for driver of BlueSG car that crashed into HDB pillar SINGAPORE - Police are searching for the driver who allegedly left the scene after crashing a BlueSG car into the pillar of a Housing Board block on the evening of May 21. Police said they were alerted to the accident at Block 788C Woodlands Crescent at about 5pm that day. The car is believed to have skidded along the service road, according to the police. 'The car driver left the scene and efforts to trace the driver are underway,' they said. In pictures of the accident uploaded to the SGRV Front Man Facebook group, the BlueSG car can be seen stationary on a pavement under the HDB flat. The car's bonnet and bumper appear to be badly damaged. No injuries were reported, and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said their assistance was not required. Police investigations are ongoing.
